Police are investing two burglaries in Harborough which happened in the same street during an 11-day span.
The most recent break-in happened in Great Bowden Road between about 1pm and 8pm on Friday (January 31) where a Samsung tablet computer, a laptop, two briefcases, a vacuum cleaner and two bottles of wine were stolen.
The burglars entered the grounds of the property via the back garden, leading up from the train tracks, and broke in by smashing a pane of glass in the back door of the home.
Officers are also investigating another burglary that took place in the same road between 10pm on Monday, January 20, and 6am on Tuesday, January 21. Entry to the house was gained by forcing open the rear patio doors.
An unspecified quantity of cash was stolen.
Witnesses or anybody with any information about the break-ins can call the police using the 101 number or phone Crimestoppers, which is free and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
