Two-car crash leaves one person injured

Firefighters freed a person trapped inside a car after a two-vehicle crash in Gores Lane, Little Bowden, yesterday morning (Monday).

A pair of fire crews from Harborough’s fire station were called out to the scene of the crash, off Kettering Road, at 11.24am.

Two cars were involved in the collision and the fire service extricated a person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles, said the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service daily report log.

The person was taken by ambulance to Kettering General Hospital, said the report.
