A woman celebrated 100th birthday with friends and family at the Peaker Park Care Village in Rockingham Road, Harborough.
Winifred Sullivan, who was born in London, was a very talented bowler who played cricket all round the world and spent time coaching new players.
She only, reluctantly, stopped playing eight years ago due to her poor eyesight.
Mrs Sullivan lived in Symington Way, Harborough, from the age of 84 until moving to Peaker Park three years ago.
As well as a tea party at Peaker Park with music, Mrs Sullivan enjoyed a private party with family and friends.
Mrs Sullivan has five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
