Lutterworth Sports Centre held a special open day on Saturday to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The leisure facility, which was opened to much fanfare in 2004, hosted a variety of entertainment over the weekend to celebrate reaching the milestone.
A number of activities were held throughout the day, ranging from arts and crafts drop-in sessions, beat the instructor challenges, bouncy castle, cakes and face-painting.
Managers at the sport centre, in Coventry Road, said they were delighted with the turnout and felt it was a great day.
Craig Braham, operations manager for the Harborough District Leisure Trust which runs the centre, said: “To celebrate 10 successful years, we thought it would be nice to put on some exciting activities so people can see what goes on – to those who have never been before and for those who have.
“The open day was a great success and it gave us the chance to say thank you to the community for their custom year after year.”
A number of taster sessions were held including in trampolining, scuba-diving and badminton.
There was also a basketball free-throw competition, a penalty shoot-out and some fun go-karts.
Stalls providing information about classes on offer at the centre were also on display.
The centre is owned by Harborough District Council and managed by the leisure trust in partnership with Serco Leisure Operating Ltd.
It has a range of facilities including swimming pools, a gym, activity rooms, a sports hall and meeting rooms.
The centre said it always welcomes new members and inquiries can be made by calling 01455 200 800.
