The Songbirds women’s choir has made a generous £1,000 donation to Harborough’s Shopmobility charity.

The money, handed over last month, was raised during a concert held in December. Gill Keenan, chairman of Songbirds, said: “We are delighted and proud to be able to donate £1,000 to Shopmobility. It will help towards keeping this vital service running for another year.”

The music group rehearses on Thursday evenings at Farndon Fields Primary School in Harborough. For more details, email harboroughsongbirds@hotmail.co.uk.
