The Sustainable Harborough group is inviting food retailers and producers from across the district to join them for a free local food and drink open evening.

It is taking place at the Harborough Conservative Club from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday.

The aim is to bring pub, restaurant and café owners together with local food producers to network and learn more about Sustainable Harborough.

The event will feature presentations on the Food Map and edibLE16 projects, both of which centre around the ethical and sustainable production and sale of local produce.

There will also be a speaker from the Notts Nosh group, discussing how businesses can get involved in local food and drink projects.

Places must be booked in advance. Call Sustainable Harborough on 01858 466207 orsend an email to sustainableharborough@ruralcc.org.uk.
