A district photographer has won the The British Institute of Professional Photography’s Pet Portrait Photographer of the Year Award for the Midlands region.
Nigel Ord-Smith’s winning picture was of English setter Bilbo taken at his coach house studio in Marston Trussell.
Mr Ord-Smith, pictured, inset, said: “I was absolutely delighted.
“I won the runner-up prize last year and so winning this category outright this year was the icing on the cake.
“Although we are a professional wedding and portraiture photography business, we have a growing reputation for our pet photography and that side of the business has really taken off over the last 12 months.”
To celebrate the award, he is offering one lucky Mail reader the opportunity of winning a free portrait session with their dog and a16-inch framed image to take away from the session.
To enter email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address, telephone number, dog’s name, breed and age and he will draw one lucky winner on June 19.
