A district pub will open a new farm shop in a converted outbuilding tomorrow (Friday).
The Queen’s Head in Saddington will sell a range of produce made in the pub’s kitchen as well as a range of storecupboard essentials.
The venture is a joint enterprise between tenants Chris Lewis-Sharman and Julian Benton and pub owner Everards. It is set to open 9am to 2pm, seven days a week.
Mr Lewis-Sharman said: “There’s been lots of interest and positive feedback from locals and regulars who are really pleased to be getting a shop back in the village.”
The new shop will be opened at midday by Chris Broad, father of England fast-bowler Stuart Broad.
