A dog bowl that has provided water to thirsty dogs at a district beauty spot for more than 15 years has been stolen.
The bowl, which was made in Britain by Mason Cash, was taken from outside Foxton Museum at Foxton Locks last week.
It was placed there to help thirsty dogs so they would avoid the danger of drinking from the canal.
Mike Beech, from the museum, said it was one of only two dog bowls that have been used by the museum in the last 30 years.
Dogs are now drinking from an ice-cream tub.
People reacted angrily to the theft on the museum’s Facebook page. If you have information about the bowl’s whereabouts , call Mr Beech on 0116 2792657.
