Harborough seemed to escape the worst of the storm which swept across Britain last night - but heavy rains caused some flooding of the River Welland.

Across the country trains and flights were cancelled as the storm - named St Jude, the patron saint of lost causes - hit the south-west in the early hours and swept north-east across Britain.
East Midlands Trains services to St Pancras were among those cancelled this morning.
