Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward

Police are appealing for information after a house was burgled in the Harborough district.

The break-in happened on Saturday, August 2, in Church Street, Billesdon, sometime between 12.15am and 7.30am.

Police released the information today (Friday).

Numerous electrical items were stolen including an Apple iMac, Apple Mac Book Pro laptop, Apple Powerbook, two digital cameras, a docking station and other items of IT equipment.

Detective Constable 2063 Mat Wiggins said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who has any information regarding the burglary or to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious between 12.15am to 7.30am on August 2.

“We would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered similar electrical equipment in suspicious circumstances to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Wiggins on the police 101 number, follow the instructions to leave a message for the officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number 2063.
