Family and friends of the late Craig Robinson turned out for the third annual football tournament in his memory.
The event, held at harborough Town Football Club on Sunday, raised £1,000 for the club, adding to the £5,000 raised at the events held the previous two years.
The tournament featured a Robinson XI made up of Craig’s family, a team made up of his friends and sides from Little Bowden and Clipston football clubs, who Craig used to play for.
And it was Clipston who ran out winners, defending the trophy they won last year after beating Little Bowden 2-0 in the final.
The Craig Robinson Memorial Trophy was presented to the winners by Midge Capell, Craig’s grandmother.
The Robinson family thanked everyone who supported, played and contributed to the event, especially Ashley Robinson for his hard work organising it and and providing raffle prizes including signed Arsenal, England rugby and Leicestershire cricket shirts.
