The Royal British Legion in Lutterworth is holding a First World War memorial day on Sunday.
The event, which will run from midday to 4pm, is to be held in the Wycliffe Rooms on George Street, with a short service at St Mary’s Church at 12.30pm.
Branch secretary of the Lutterworth centre Alan Richardson said: “There will be displays of war memorabilia from Lutterworth Museum, a British Legion information stand and a fun fair outside.
“Quilts for English Servicemen (Q4IS) will also be displaying their work, many of which have regimental badges upon them.”
Also on display will be military models from branch president Derek Cross, with his All the Queen’s Men regimental models depicting the war.
The event aims to promote awareness of the Legion while remembering the war, and will include a procession from the church.
The day is free to attend, with all ages welcome.
