Plans are well under way for the return of Arts Fresco in the autumn with the first wacky act now confirmed by the organisers.
The street arts festival returns on Sunday, September 14,for a fun-packed day in the streets of Harborough town centre.
The event organisers are aiming to net some fantastic new acts this year alongside a few old favourites from previous years.
Some will stay in one place while others will walk about the streets, entertaining as they go.
The Surreal World of Edmond Tahl, a walkabout mime, has now been announced as the first act for the 2014 event.
Edmond accidentally finds himself trapped in a perpendicular world of absurdity, where the bizarre is always close on his heels.
Meanwhile, several Harborough firms, including Joules Clothing and Gildings auctioneers, have come forward as sponsors for the event, with donations also being welcomed from individuals.
A fundraising account has been set up to allow people to donate money through their normal online shopping.

Arts Fresco started in 2001, and was last held in the town centre in 2010 before moving to Welland Park in 2011, and supporting the Olympic Torch Relay in 2012.
A new committee to revive the event was set up last year to bring it back to the town centre’s streets.
