A Kibworth baby products company has won a national Prima Baby gold award for one of its star designs.
Natures Purest, whose head office is based in the village, was awarded the accolade less than three months after beating High Street heavyweights to another national prize
When the company was founded in 2006 by Kibworth entrepreneur Jane Albon it had five pieces in its collection.
Now it has 14 ranges and more than 240 products on sale around the world with a presence in 46 countries.
The company, which also has a store in High Street, Kibworth Beauchamp, picked up the Best Gift or Keepsake Item award for its Pure Love bamboo blanket at the Prima Baby awards recently.
It is a soft blanket made from sustainable fabric and no harmful dyes or chemicals.
The awards are seen as a benchmark of quality in the baby products industry, celebrating the best stores, products and brands.
It brings up a hat-trick of wins for Natures Purest after similar successes in the Loved By Parents Awards and Mother & Baby Awards over the last 12 months.
Jane said: “We are delighted to have been recognised again for the quality of our products and it’s a real honour to have won a Prima Baby award, especially after our other success in recent months.
“The most important thing for us is that awards like these are voted for by real mums.”
The Natures Purest range includes toys, bedding and clothing made from 100 per cent organically grown, naturally coloured cotton.
