Two cars ended up upside down after a crash on the outskirts of Harborough in the early evening yesterday (Wednesday).

Police, two fire crews from Harborough and the ambulance service were called to Gallow Hill on the A6 at 5.47pm yesterday.

The fire service daily report log said only one vehicle was involved in the crash but motorists reported seeing two cars upside down.

Firefighters assisted the paramedics with one casualty, said the report log.

Eyewitness Jemma Redden said on Twitter: “It was near the Foxton Locks roundabout [sometimes referred to as the McDonald’s roundabout] on the way into Harbrough.

“Two cars were upside down and police had cordoned off the road.”
