Grass cutting and street cleaning are among services Harborough District Council is looking to reduce as part of a £100,000 savings package.

The council is hoping to make £40,000 worth of cuts by reducing the frequency of road sweeping in rural areas.

And it is in discussions with its grounds maintenance contractor FCC Environment to make £30,000 of savings by making changes including a reduction in grass cutting.
