Cash, car and cards stolen in home raid

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Gilmorton.

The break-in happened some time between 10.30pm on Saturday, March 22, and 6am on Sunday, March 23, at a property in Tealby Close in the village.

Entry was gained via a ground floor window and bank cards, cash and a mobile phone were stolen.

A Ford Focus was also stolen from the driveway which was later recovered outside of the county. Det Con Melanie Fisher asked anyone who has any information regarding the burglary or saw anything suspicious to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police 101 number, follow the instructions to leave a message for the officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number, 4433.
