Police visited more than 100 homes, offering advice to elderly residents, to prevent them from becoming victims of doorstep crime and distraction burglary.

Two residents provided evidence of possible rogue traders operating in the area.

Detective Chief Inspector Shane O’Neill said: “This has been a great example of a multi-agency approach to targeting rogue traders and providing crime prevention advice to vulnerable people in our community.”
