Four fire crews were called out to deal with a barn fire in the Harborough district yesterday (Tuesday) which was started deliberately.

Firefighters from Wigston fire station were called to a farm in Stretton Road, Great Glen, at 2.45pm yesterday, said the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service daily report log.

Flames had engulfed a stable on the farm, which was started deliberately, said the report log.

The fire crews used two hose reels, a water bowser and drag forks to put out the fire.
