Students and staff at Robert Smyth Academy are celebrating an overall pass rate of 98 per cent for A-Levels this year.
The school said 72 per cent of pupils achieved A* to C grades and that the average points score has risen ten points above the record 2012 figures.
Some of the star pupils included Pippa Ball, who gained three A*s and an A, and Philippa Carr, who scored three As and an A*.
Both will be studying at Cambridge University come September.
Head teacher Colin Dean said: “We are delighted that our students have done so well again this year and wish them every success in their further careers.
“With results like this, it is clear that most will be going to the destination of their choice. Congratulations to them, their parents and, of course, the staff for al the hard work that has so obviously paid off.”
