AN URGENT appeal to trace a Walcote woman who was reported missing on Tuesday, September 18, has been issued by the police.

Jane Linzey, also known as Paulette Jane Linzey, of Walcote was reported missing by her carer.

She is thought to have been last seen in July when she was dropped off by a taxi at the recycling area at Morrisons, Lutterworth.

The 72-year-old Jane is described as being 5ft 7in tall and of a slim build.

Her usual style of clothing is a long sleeved polo top, jeans and comfortable shoes. She usually wears glasses but left these at home.

Sgt Gavin Drummond, from the county missing from home team, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Jane’s safety and welfare.

“We have carried out a number of enquiries and have discovered that Jane’s bank accounts have not been accessed since July and she has not collected her medication from her doctor which has obviously worried us.”

Police would urge anyone who has any information which might help officers locate Jane or believe they have seen anyone matching her description, please contact the police.

Anyone with any information about Jane is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
