A FEMALE body-builder visited a Harborough gym to give advice about nutrition and tips on workouts to members.

World champion body builder Rene Campbell was joined by British novice competitor Aaron Hallett for the event at Harborough’s Fit Zone Gym.

The session was organised by gym owner Perry Crick and his partner Gail Bellingham.

Mr Crick told the Mail: “It was a great day thanks to all that came. Bringing top fitness athletes from the magazines and TV to Fit Zone is what we are about and there is a lot more to come this year.”

Dan Powell, a member of Fit Zone, said: “It was a very humbling experience to hear Rene, the current world champion, speak to us about her life-long journey and commitment to the very top, plus to share her knowledge and tips with us is something I do not feel I would get anywhere else.”

The visit took place last month.
