MORE than 20 schools have closed in the Harborough area today (Monday) due to the snow..

The full list of schools closed is: Meadowdale Primary in Harborough, Kibworth Primary, Market Harborough CofE, Church Langton Primary, Houghton-on-the- Hill Primary, Thomas Estley Community College in Broughton Astley, St Cuthbert’s Primary in Great Glen, Ridgeway Primary in Harborough, Wilbarston Primary, Braybrooke Primary, Havelock Infants and Havelock Juniors schools in Desborough, Maidwell Primary School, Naseby C of E Primary, Welford Primary, Sibbertoft and Sulby Primary, Rothwell Junior School, Montsaye Academy in Rothwell, Great Bowden CofE Academy, Clipston Primary School, Loatlands Primary in Desborough and Rothwell Victoria Infants School

Guilsborough School will be open but for GCSE and A-Level students only.

The main roads around Harborough seem relatively clear this morning after gritting but there is the usual icy conditions in the side streets and residential areas.
