School’s reunion dinner

A SCHOOL in Great Glen is hosting a reunion dinner for former students.

Leicester Grammar School is holding its Old Leicestrian Reunion Dinner on Saturday, September 15 at the site of the former Leicester Grammar School site.

The surroundings of the site have now been restored and the dinner will be held in what was previously known as the Great Hall. It is now the Grand Hall.

The school will be welcoming back students and teachers for a three course black-tie dinner.

Tim Cawston, former deputy head of the school will be guest of honour following his retirement at the end of the 2011/2012 academic year.

The food for the evening is being produced by Hotel Maiyango which is owned by former student Aatin Anadkat. Guests on the night will include retired England rugby player Harry Ellis.
