Recruitment expertise needed for cinema team

PLANS for Harborough’s cinema are moving forward, with the staffing of the facility now being looked at.

There will be a few job opportunities created and the committee running the Screen Machine project are looking for an HR specialist to join the team of volunteers and lend some expertise in the area of recruitment.

The committee has received lots of help already from several key people including:

Michael Lavender from town firm Michael Lavender Architects has been supporting committee member Haydn Young from GAIA in ensuring the cinema unit will be properly sited on its pitch at Symington’s Rec.

Mr Lavender has been heavily involved with the project and the trustees are immensely grateful for his tireless help and support.

Wez Finch from Finch Signs in Wellingborough has been storing the unit and is instrumental in the refurbishment process.

Paul Marks of Michael Paul Accountants is keeping track of the funds and supporting the trustees in dealing with HMRC.

And Libby Langley of Zest Communications has been providing the marketing and social media support to the project.

If you can help the HR side of things, phone Marion Lewis on 07775 858425.
