Formerly Air Chief Marshall and Commander-in-Chief in the Royal Air Force, Sir Clive has lived in the patch for more than 20 years.

He says: “My vision for Leicestershire Police is that it will be the best crime fighting force in the country.

“I want to cut crime. If I am elected, I will lead a re-energised team who will work with humility, integrity and accountability to deliver for each and every resident.

“And I will work with the chief constable to foster a new culture of police professionalism and effectiveness that all residents will trust, that criminals will fear, and in which police officers and staff will take great pride.”
