How to help wild animal hospital
A WILDLIFE hospital raided earlier this month for its valuable steel cages has appealed for help to raise £30,000 to cover the cost of the cages and help them prevent further thefts.
The thieves who broke into Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital threw animals being cared for on to the floor, leaving them dead or dying.
Now the Kibworth-based wildlife hospital is asking for donations to help it replace the cages and boost security arrangements.
Police have advised staff that the thieves may be back to take the cages they did not manage to steal before.
If you can help, send your donations by cheque or postal order to Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital Trust, 12 Rookery Close, Kibworth Beauchamp, Leicestershire, LE8 0SD.
Alternatively people can pay direct into bank account name LWH Building Fund, sort code 20-49-08, account number 00561010 or go to www.justgiving.com/leicestershirewildlifehospital/Donate.
