The Wear It Pink day saw men at Andrew Grangers & Co, in High Street, don pastel pink shirts while women dressed in bright pink tutus and tops.

There was even a pair of pink spectacles doing the rounds at the event, held on Friday.

Staff at the office brought in unwanted clothes and bags to sell on a stall.

There were also pink balloon decorations and staff had baked cakes with pink icing to sell to people visiting the estate agents, which all helped boost the final charity total.

After final counting, the event raised more than £800 for Breast Cancer Research.

Mark Faulkner, a senior valuer at the company, said: “It was a fantastic day.

“We raised quite a lot of money for a great cause.”
