A SCAVENGER hunt is being organised in the Harborough area to help raise funds for a town drama group.

The Great Family Scavenger Hunt is set to be fun for all the family and will set off from St Nicholas Church Hall in The Green, Little Bowden, where each team will be given a set of clues to lead them to a final, secret destination.

It is being held on Sunday, September 30 (start 2pm), in aid of Market Harborough Musical Theatre.

Teams will be required to collect mystery items and photographs along the way with each group’s car setting off at five-minute intervals.

Prizes are up for grabs for the most innovative team name, first to make it to the mystery location and there will even be a booby prize for the last to make it to the pub.

Tickets cost £2 with teams of up to five people allowed. There will be a pub dinner, for those who want it, at the final location (this will be charged as extra).

Market Harborough Musical Theatre member and event organiser Emma Waterfield said: “This promises to be a super fun afternoon. For those who would like to take part or would like more information on tickets, please call 07709 487844 or email emma-waterfield@live.co.uk.”
