MARKET Harborough Gardening Club’s annual show saw the usual high standard of entries.

The event was held at the indoor Market Hall in Northampton Road, Harborough, on the August Bank Holiday Monday.

Show secretary kath Outram said: “Although the number of entries was down compared with last year, due to the peculiar weather we have been having, the standard of the exhibits was still high.

“The judges were pleased with them, which is what counts! As they said, we had done well to put on the show as many have been cancelled this year.

“I would like to thank all our sponsors, too many to name individually, without whose support we would be unable to run the show.

“Also thanks to all our members and non-members who provided so many excellent exhibits.

Last, but by no means least, my committee members and friends who worked so hard to help me get the show on the road! Many thanks to you all.”
