Fire crews called to bathroom blaze

FIRE crews were called to a blaze in the bathroom of a home in Kibworth.

Two firefighters using breathing apparatus put out the fire at the home in Leicester Road yesterday evening (Monday) but it left the bathroom ceiling badly damaged.

The cause of the blaze, which happened shortly after 4.30pm, was an electrical fault in a fan, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue said.
