Dog falls through the ice on frozen lake

A DOG was rescued from a frozen lake by the fire service after it fell through the ice.

Fire crews from Lutterworth were called to the incident in Kilworth Road, North Kilworth shortly after 1pm yesterday (Thursday).

They rescued the dog using a sledge, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said.
