Volunteer...Poppy Bogle

A WOMAN is heading off to Jamaica to work in care and community for one month.

Poppy Bogle (22), of Swinbridge Street, Foxton will be a volunteer with the global organisation Projects Abroad.

Miss Bogle said: “This is a big challenge for me personally.

“I really hope my trip is a big success.”

She will be taking pictures of Harborough with her when she goes to Jamaica to show the people she meets where she comes from.

Peter Slowe, director of Projects Abroad, said: “We are really pleased Poppy is doing this. Jamaica destination are looking forward very much to meeting her – and they definitely want her to bring some pictures of Market Harborough with her.”

Popp, pictured, is off to Jamaica where she is going to work in Care & Community for one month.

She will head out there in December and will find out one month before what project she will be working on there although it will be centred around care.
