Little Bowden Come and Sing Choir

TUNEFUL pupils from Little Bowden Primary School have enjoyed a busy month, singing to audiences large and small.

First, the school’s Come and Sing Choir - of which about 60 pupils are members - sang in the Young Voices concert at the Birmingham LG Arena to a sell-out audience of 16,000 people.

Performing with school choirs from across the country, the choir sang songs from the shows and the charts and enjoyed harmonising with Connie Talbot and the African Children’s Choir.

They sang carols at the school fete and at nativity concerts at St Nicholas Church in Little Bowden.

The children also performed Christmas music for the elderly people of Marshall Court residential home in Harborough, before enjoying a well-deserved Christmas break, said teaching assistant Clare Davies.
