Army commander’s talk

A MILITARY commander during the Cold War period will be giving a talk at the next meeting of the Harborough branch of the Royal British Legion.

Sir Michael Carleton-Smith, who retired from the Army in 1985, will talk about his experiences of conflict.

It is at Harborough Conservative Club, Farifield Road, on Wednesday, at 7.30pm.
