A trio of women who work at a bank in Harborough got together for a good cause on Tuesday.
Michelle Williams, Alison Bramley and Maisie Nazzal from the Halifax Bank took on a 15-mile walk of the Brampton Valley Way to raise funds for charity. They completed the trek in just under five-and-a-half-hours and managed to raise £250.
Maisie said: “Nationally, Halifax likes its colleagues to fundraise for various charities, so we decided to do the walk for our local area charity which is the Teenage Cancer Trust.”
Anyone still wanting to sponsor the women can do so by calling into the branch on The Square.
Maisie added: “We would like to thank our customers for their generosity and pledges of support.”
