DARTH Vader has promised there will be ‘no escape’ for the people behind Harborough’s Star Wars-inspired makeover.

In a candid video interview with the Mail, the Sith Lord emphasised the power of the dark side of the Force and was heavily critical of some of the signs placed around the town centre.

One advises Rebel Snowspeeder pilots to use tow cables and ‘go for the legs’ when attacking Imperial AT-ATs, while another exposes the Death Star’s potentially fatal exhaust port flaw.

Though Lord Vader promised action against the culprits, he admitted he was happy with some of the signs, including one banning X-Wings from St Mary’s Place.

He was also pleased with the promise of extra parking spaces for Imperial Speeder Bikes at Sainsbury’s.

Attempts by the Mail to contact our Rebel Alliance contact on Alderaan have failed.
