Two cut free after morning crash

TWO people had to be cut from their cars after a crash in Brixworth this morning.

At 6.20am, firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the Holcot Road, close to Brixworth after two cars were involved in a crash.

One person was trapped in each of the cars.

Crew from The Mounts and Brixworth fire stations, along with a technical rescue vehicle, were called and freed both people by 7.38am.

They were then taken to hospital. Details of the conditions of the patients is not yet available.
