Tour of the prison cells

AN OPEN day is being held at Harborough Police Station on Saturday.

Visitors can get a tour of the Leicester Road station, including the prison cells, sit in a police car and try on police equipment. There will also be crime-prevention information on hand and a police volunteer will talk about being a Special Constable.

Firefighters will be on the car park where there will be a fire engine and some small fair rides for youngsters.

It runs from 11am until 3pm.
