Thieves steal crashed car

A car which ended up in a ditch following a crash near harborough has been stolen.

The grey Ford Mondeo was left in the ditch on the A508 road between Northampton and Market Harborough, close to Hanging Houghton.

The vehicle, which had damage to its front doors, was removed by an offender almost certainly using a recovery truck or vehicle, said Northants police.

It was stolen some time between 2am and 4pm on Sunday (March 10).

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
