Thieves remove window to break into home

A HOME in Harborough was broken into by burglars who removed a UPVC window to gain access to the property.

The break in took place between 9am and 3.30pm in Alvington Way, Harborough on Friday.

Thieves removed glass from a double paned window and stole goods worth hundreds of pounds, including computers, cash and jewellery.

Harborough police say that it is a method of break in which has not been seen in the area before.

Police are now appealing for information. If you saw anything suspicious during those times call 101.
