Sat-navs stolen in raids

THIEVES are targeting sat-navs in night-time smash and grab raids on parked cars, police have warned.

Sgt Phil Durrant, of Harborough police, said a total of eight cars parked in the Alvington Way and Ashley Way areas of town have been hit in the last week.

He said patrols have been stepped up in those areas and urged motorists not to leave valuables on display.
