Man charged with Spar robbery

A MAN has been charged in connection with a robbery at the Spar shop in Coventry Road, Harborough.

The 38-year-old appeared before Leicester magistrates on Friday charged with the incident, on Sunday, January 29, as well as five other counts of robbery.

Three of the other incidents relate to robberies at supermarkets in Thurmaston, Ratby and Wigston.

The remaining two incidents occurred in Kent and Cambridge.
