Man charged with pub assault

A MAN has been charged with assaulting a 60-year-old man in a Harborough pub.

The attack is alleged to have happened at the Red Cow, in High Street, shortly after 9.30pm on Saturday.

Police said a 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

He has been charged with common assault, said police, and is due to appear before magistrates in Leicester on October 9.
