BREAKING NEWS: Man charged over knife-point sex attack

A MAN has been charged in connection with an knife-point sex attack in Little Bowden.

The incident took place at about 6.50pm on Thursday November 17, 2011 in Scotland Road.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, walked into an alleyway leading to Little Bowden Rec when she was approached by a man who threatened her with a knife and touched her inappropriately.

A 32-year-old man was later arrested and has now been charged with sexual assault, possession of a bladed article and kidnap, police announced today.

He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on Wednesday, May 9.
