South Kilworth Riding Club promises something for everyone at the events, the first of which is this Sunday (May 8).

Club committee member Sue Butland said: “South Kilworth Riding Club has been running its friendly, family orientated horse shows since the 1980s. We are now welcoming back the children, and even grandchildren of some of our original members.

“We have classes for everyone, from novices to experts; show jumping to fancy dress all held in the lovely grounds of Stanford Hall, near Lutterworth. All our classes have rosettes to sixth place, a trophy and prize for the winner and plenty of friendly help and support available.

“This year one of our members is organising the Clear Round Jumping, which runs its own ring all day, to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.”

The club’s first show is on Sunday, followed by shows on June 26, July 24 and September 11.

Anyone is welcome to attend and you do not need to be a member to compete. Visitors may also decide which classes to enter on the day.
