Queen Victoria will lead Harborough Carnival parade!

The Harborough Carnival Queen and her court have been chosen for this year's carnival parade, which takes place on Saturday, June 11.

Victoria Chester (6) has been chosen as the queen, and her two princesses will be Chloe Shaw (5) and Emily Williams (7).

This year, the queen and her attendants were chosen through a Facebook vote.

Organisers say there were 307 votes placed in total.

Organisers of the carnival float parade are also asking anyone interested in entering a float to get in touch with them.

Lesley Croft, parade co-ordinator for the carnival, said: “We are hoping to have a fantastic day with entertainment at Symingtons Rec after the parade.

“If any organization, school or business would like to enter a float in the parade, we will be delighted to send them full details of the event.”
