More than 2,000 people attended a free event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a Harborough church.
The Big Day Out event which was organised by Harborough Evangelical Church took place on the playing fields in Western Avenue on Saturday.
It attracted huge crowds who came for bouncy castle fun, cream teas and clowns.
Rev Tristan Styles said that the event was made free for everyone as it was intended to be an event that gave back to the community.
Appearing at the Big Day Out was football player Linvoy Primus who spoke about his life as a premiership footballer.
Rev Styles said that the event was supported by more than 20 community partners who he thanked.
The actual anniversary of the church takes place on October 4 to October 6 and there will be a service on October 5 to mark the occasion.
Rev Styles said that it is hoped that by then the coffee shop which is currently being built will be open there.
