Cash and jewellery was taken after three men with covered faces broke into a house in Queens Road in Wilbarston.

They broke into the property at about 8.40pm on Saturday (March 4) and searched the house, taking cash and jewellery before making off.

A police spokesman said: “It is believed three offenders were involved in the incident, with all three wearing dark coloured clothing and face coverings.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.

“They would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have been driving in the area and has a dash cam in their car.”
